Information we don’t collect
We do not store, log, or retain the specific URLs, email addresses, or domains you submit to our tools. Checks are processed in real time and we do not keep a record of your inputs after the request is complete. We do not require an account or collect personal information to use the tools.
How each tool uses data
Link safety checker & bulk URL checker: We receive the URL(s) you submit, follow redirects on our servers, and may send the final URL to Google Safe Browsing for threat lookup. We do not store the URLs. Email validator: We receive the email address to validate syntax and perform MX lookups; we do not store it. URL unwrapper & HTTP header checker: We receive the URL to fetch redirects or headers on our servers; we do not store it. DNS lookup, WHOIS lookup, SSL certificate checker: We receive the domain or hostname you enter to perform the lookup; we do not store it. Password strength checker: Runs entirely in your browser—nothing you type is sent to our servers. The same applies when you use our public API: we process the data in each request but do not retain it.
Recent checks (local storage)
If you use the “Recent checks” feature, your browser may store a list of recent inputs (e.g. URLs or domains) and results locally on your device. This data stays in your browser only and is not sent to or stored on our servers. You can clear it via your browser’s site data or storage settings.
Shareable result links
When you use “Share result link” on the link checker, a URL containing the checked address (e.g. /check?url=...) is created. If you share that link, anyone with it can see that address. Our server may receive the URL when the page is loaded; we do not use it for tracking or retention beyond what is described in “Information we may collect.” Our hosting provider's server logs may briefly contain the request URL; we do not use those logs for tracking or retention.
Information we may collect
When you use our website we may collect standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, and referring URL (including URLs that appear in shared links when someone opens them). Our hosting and analytics providers may collect similar data in accordance with their own policies.
Advertising
We may show third-party advertisements (e.g. Google AdSense) to support the site. Those partners may use cookies and similar technologies to show relevant ads and measure performance. Their use of data is governed by their own policies.
Third-party services
Our link safety checker may send URLs to Google Safe Browsing to obtain threat information; this is subject to Google’s terms and privacy policy. For DNS, WHOIS, and SSL checks we query public systems; for header checks we fetch the URL from our servers. We do not pass your inputs to third parties for marketing or advertising.
