URL unwrapper
Reveal the final destination of any short link. Trace the full redirect chain to see where a link really goes.
How it works
Security First
Our servers visit the link for you, preventing trackers from seeing your IP.
Recursive Tracing
We follow every 301 and 302 redirect recursively until we find the landing page.
Transparent Report
View the final URL and security protocols before you decide to click.
Frequently asked questions
What is URL unwrapping?
URL unwrapping reveals the final destination of a shortened or redirected link without actually visiting it. You see every step in the redirect chain.
Which short link services are supported?
We support all HTTP redirect-based shorteners, including bit.ly, t.co, goo.gl, tinyurl.com, ow.ly, and many more.
Is it safe to unwrap links?
Yes. Our server follows the redirects on your behalf—your browser never visits the destination until you choose to.
How many redirects can it follow?
We follow up to 10 redirects in a chain. If a link has more than 10 hops, we report what we found up to that point.
