In plain English

The company you bought your domain from. They manage the registration and show up in WHOIS.

A domain name registrar is an organization accredited to sell and manage domain registrations. When you register example.com, you do it through a registrar, which then appears in WHOIS data. You renew and update nameservers through the same registrar.

Our WHOIS lookup returns the registrar for any domain so you can see who manages it and when the registration expires.
